Ralli collects nothing. Last updated 17 October 2026.

The short version

Ralli does not collect or transmit personal data. Your recordings, your scores and your highlight reels stay on your device.

If you turn on Save matches to Health, your matches are also saved to Apple Health as workouts, which Apple Health keeps.

What is stored, and where

Video and audio you record, and video you import, are written to Ralli's own folder on your device.

Match data (points, scores, rally timings, highlight selections and settings) is held in a database on your device.

None of it is sent anywhere. Ralli has no servers.

Your device's own backups, to iCloud or to a computer, can include these files, as they include any app's.

Finding where points start

Ralli reads the audio of a recording to find ball strikes, and uses them to work out where each point you marked started. It never adds a point of its own. It runs entirely on your device, on a file already stored there, and produces timings that are stored the same way.

No audio, and no result derived from it, is transmitted.

Photos

With your permission, Ralli can read a video you choose in order to import it, and write an exported highlight reel, its clips, and a whole match if you ask for one, to your photo library.

It does not browse, index or read anything else in your library.

Apple Health

With your permission, Ralli's Apple Watch app saves each match to Apple Health as a workout: the sport, when it started and ended, heart rate and active energy. Ralli asks only to write these, and reads nothing from Health.

Ralli does not use health data for anything else, share it with anyone or send it anywhere. Apple Health keeps it, under the settings you choose there.

Keeping Ralli on your wrist through a match (Keep the watch awake) runs a workout on the watch, which asks for the same permission. Nothing is saved to Health unless Save matches to Health is on.

You can turn this off in Ralli's settings, and remove Ralli's access in the Health app. Workouts already saved stay in Health until you delete them there.

Apple Watch

Ralli's watch app and the phone exchange what the watch needs to follow a match: the points you mark, the score, the sport, the names of the two sides, the state of the match and your two watch settings. They pass over Apple's own connection between the two, and Ralli has no server for them to go through.

Payments

Ralli does not make any network request. If paid features are switched on in a future version, the purchase itself is handled by Apple, and this page will say so before that version ships.

Other people in your recordings

A recording made at a club is likely to contain other people. Ralli does not identify anyone, does not run face or voice recognition, and does not build a profile of anybody.

You are responsible for what you record and for what you do with it, including any local rules about filming or recording sound.

Children

Ralli is not made for children. It collects no information from anyone, whatever their age.

Deleting your data

Deleting a match removes it, and its footage is deleted thirty days later.

Uninstalling Ralli removes everything it stored on your device. Videos it saved to your photo library and workouts it saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them, in Photos or in the Health app.

Because Ralli never sent anything anywhere, there is nothing else to request or erase.

Changes

If a future version of Ralli sends anything anywhere, this page will say what and why before that version ships.
